Murphy Dome Diaries

A journalist observes life in the far north.

A visit from the Bottle Washing Fairy

The Bottle Washing Fairy gets here early Wednesday morning to spend the rest of her July in Alaska. I am excited to see her. Maybe I’ll get a few yoga classes in during her visit. Also, I am looking for a new babysitter—Kiera, the babysitter now, goes back to school in mid August—and I’d appreciate her counsel.

I am off to work to finish my story about the 50-year class reunion and type up the police blotter. It’s foggy here on the dome. I hope it’s nice in town.

Lucky just fell and bumped her head for the gazzillionth time. I am wondering if a helmet is in order.

What pretty girls, you look like Mom and daughter. Still hoping for more posts with pix of Jade and Colton.
